Tips are plentiful. Its where to start? I have found these are the most often asked.

1) Network! Network! Network!

2) Hang with like-minded musicians.

3) Talk to different music publishers – humblely ask for advise.

4) Never never pay anyone to manage or promote you. Let me repeat, “Never never pay anyone to manage or promote you.” If they have the confidence in you, they will invest in you. They will even pay you to record demos.

5) Always have fun ..there’s no easy street, not on stage or off stage, it takes a plan and lots of hard work.. but it should always be fun – a labor of love.

6) Dont let rejection bother you – RCA laughed at the Beatles. Always keep your head up.

7) Send us, BZoO Homegrown Radio, your MP3s for broadcasting. In addition to promoting Independent Artist on our Live Stream, we also promote you on our website at BZoO HomeGrown Radio with Spotlights and Podcast. Ask us about posting your current and upcoming events and CD releases. And its all Free!
